چکیده

In order to optimize the usage of testing efforts and to assess risks of softwarebased systems, risk-based testing uses risk (re-)assessments to steer all phases in a test process. Several risk-based testing approaches have been proposed in academia and/or applied in industry, so that the determination of principal concepts and methods in risk-based testing is needed to enable a comparison of the weaknesses and strengths of different risk-based testing approaches. In this chapter we provide an (updated) taxonomy of risk-based testing aligned with risk considerations in all phases of a test process. It consists of three top-level classes, i.e., contextual setup, risk assessment, and risk-based test strategy. This taxonomy provides a framework to understand, categorize, assess and compare risk-based testing approaches to support their selection and tailoring for specific purposes. Furthermore, we position four recent risk-based testing approaches into the taxonomy in order to demonstrate its application and alignment with available risk-based testing approaches.

Financial Risk Modeling with Markova Chain

Investors use different approaches to select optimal portfolio. so, Optimal investment choices according to return can be interpreted in different models. The traditional approach to allocate portfolio selection called a mean - variance explains. Another approach is Markov chain. Markov chain is a random process without memory. This means that the conditional probability distribution of the nex...

Death risk classifying in patients with internal medical emergencies in pre-hospital settings

Introduction: In a pre-hospital emergency, identifying high-risk medical patients and appropriate decision making is very important. The classifying of life-threatening risks in pre-hospital settings can improve the decision-making process. This study was purposed to classify the risk level of death in patients in pre-hospital emergency settings. Materials and Methods: This study was a descript...

Comparing two testing procedures in unbalanced two-way ANOVA models under heteroscedasticity‎: Approximate degree of freedom and parametric bootstrap approach

‎The classic F-test is usually used for testing the effects of factors in homoscedastic two-way ANOVA models‎. ‎However‎, ‎the assumption of equal cell variances is usually violated in practice‎. ‎In recent years‎, ‎several test procedures have been proposed for testing the effects of factors‎. ‎In this paper‎, ‎the two methods that are approximate degree of freedom (ADF) and parametric bootstr...

An Analysis of Use Case Based Testing Approaches Based on a Defect Taxonomy

Use cases are a well-established means for requirements elicitation and specification. Recently, several approaches have argued to take use cases also directly as the basis for testing. In this paper we analyze use case based testing approaches on the basis of a defect taxonomy. For this purpose, we propose a taxonomy classifying typical defects which need to be uncovered during system testing....
